As a general rule, 15 minutes (including discussion time) are allocated for each oral presentation. There are two overhead and two slide projectors, two screens, as well as two projectionists in each lecture room. Speakers should prepare their slides to withstand the heat from the projector, add their name, a sequence number and a thumb mark and should deliver them to one of the projectionists at least 15 minutes before the session starts. Speakers can pre-view their slides in three special rooms (Agora 2, 3 and 4) located on the first floor.
Each paper has been allocated a code which contains the information about the time and location of its presentation. The tables below give the names of the conference rooms and the times of the presentation numbers
The poster area is located in a large marquee (PO) connected to the main entrance of the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès. Material for poster presentations should be arranged for a space not larger than 194 cm wide and 94 cm high. Poster presentations are scheduled for Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 17.30 and 20.00. The poster presentations usually follow the oral presentations for a given symposium or session.
The poster should be fixed on the appropriate panel after 10.00 in the morning and before the opening time of the corresponding poster session. The poster should be removed from the panel before 10.00 the following day. Material to fix the posters on the panel is available at the Poster Facility desk located at the entrance of the large marquee; if pasteboard or cardboard is used, posters will be perforated and hung with chains and hooks fixed in the upper groove of the panels (chains and hooks will be provided at the site). Otherwise they will be taped to the panels.
