Delegates are reminded that the abstract, accommodation and early registration rate deadline is December 15th.

The Himalaya-Karakoram-Tibet Workshop is the premier meeting concerned with the evolution of the India-Asia collision. The 21st meeting will be held in Cambridge, UK from the 29th to the 31st March, 2006. The workshop will cover all aspects of the evolution of the orogen including the implications for the large scale behaviour and evolution of the continental crust, and long and short term climatic impacts.

The conference will include planned sessions on deep structure, thermo-mechanical modelling, exhumation and erosion, tectonics and climatic impacts.

The abstract, registration and accommodation booking deadlines will be on December 15th, 2005 and arrangements will be announced in the forthcoming circular.
