Terms and Conditions

Definitions

“CPL” means Cambridge Publications Limited; “You” means the user of the site; “site” means the websites created, operated or managed by CPL; “content” means information and materials on a site.

Your rights

You may access materials on the site for your own personal use, and may download it onto one single computer or hard disk. You agree not to transmit, copy, distribute or commercially exploit any of the content on the site.

Warranty

The site and the content is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty or representations as to the materials on the site.

Liability

You agree that CPL shall not be liable in contract, negligence, statutory duty or otherwise for any loss or damage arising out of the use of the site.

Indemnification

You undertake not to use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose; that you shall not make any use of the site which may make the site less efficient, or impair the functionality of the site in any way; that you shall not use the site for the transmission of any viruses, or any materials that may be obscene, defamatory or offensive.

Intellectual Property

You acknowledge that all copyright in content on the site shall remain with CPL.

Payments

Payments may be made by bank transfer, cheque or credit cards, unless stated otherwise for a specific conference.

Cancellation

Except where stated otherwise for a specific conference, a refund (less 25% to cover administration) will be payable where notification of a cancellation is received more than six weeks before an event. No refund will be payable where the cancellation is made after this date.

Changes to terms and conditions

CPL reserve the right to change these terms and conditions.

Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
